Star Trek cast grows?
Lost creator JJ Abrams may already have started filming on the long-awaited flick, but that hasn't stopped him from casting unknown Capote's Clifton Collins Junior and relative unknown Chris Hemsworth, reports Variety.
They join an all-star roll-call including Winona Ryder as Spock's mum, Eric Bana, as villain Nero, Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty and Chris Pine as Captain Kirk.
Chris Hemsworth, who has featured in Home And Away and Dancing With The Stars, is apparently set to play George Kirk, Captain Kirk's father, but as he is actually younger than Kirk actor Chris Pine, it's possible he may only appear in flashbacks.
Meanwhile, Clifton, whose credits include Rules Of Attraction, will play the right-hand man of Eric Bana's Nero.
Star Trek is due to be released in December next year.

Leonard Nimoy, who played Enterprise science officer Spock in the 1960s TV series and six "Star Trek" feature films, also will appear as an older version of the Vulcan.
Eric Bana, the star of Steven Spielberg's "Munich" and Ang Lee's "Hulk," is playing a villain in the "Trek" film, which begins shooting in November and is due out in December 2008.
Abrams, creator of "Lost" and director of "Mission: Impossible III," is keeping the plot secret for the film that follows the early days of the "Star Trek" crew, which was led by William Shatner as the bold Capt. Kirk.
Pine's credits include the movies "Smokin' Aces" and "Just My Luck," while Urban appeared in two of the "The Lord of the Rings" movies and "The Bourne Supremacy."
